We build up disciples, found churches and further the Kingdom.
Josh Provow, together with his five kids, have lived in Bulgaria since July 1, 2015. For almost three years the Provow family lived in the city of Svishtov and served in Bulgarian Protestant Church New Life in Svishtov alongside pastor Tim Awtrey. In 2018 they moved to the city of Shumen
The pastor’s favorite verse:
“Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will take joy in the God of my salvation.” -Habakkuk 3:17-18

Bulgarian Protestant Church “New Life” has an active children’s church that is entirely free.
Every Sunday during the sermon the children go upstairs to the Children’s Church room. After the sermon the kids come down and go and front and tell everyone what they learned. Our teacher makes sure that the kids have fun by learning something new about God’s Word through a Bible lesson, crafts, and drawing.
Jesus says ““Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 19:14). We believe that in this destructive world God’s Word along can give a child the clear guidelines of good and evil and can protect him or her from the wrong path that many young people choose.
For those who love board games, we offer a fun and enriching event.
Every week, we get together and play the world-famous game “Catan”. After the game we stick around for a discussion, which seeks to connect themes from the board game with themes from the Bible.
The gathering normally lasts around two hours.
Where: around the table in the facilities of New Life Church
When: every week we get together at different times, as we try to work around the different work schedules of our participants
